After the arms are evaluated in the field in an MLB tryout, a cut is usually made. The scouts get together and decide which players they will keep for the next phase of the tryout. For those that don't hear their numbers called at this time, the workout is over.
Does the player have the courage to teach a possible opponent, even though a teammate, how to solve or improve a skill issue, even though it might have a negative effect on his playing?
